Pradip Tikader - The artist's first tabla learning started with Sri Pranavananda Mandal. Subsequently, from 1987, he received training from renowned Guru Pandit Shankar Ghosh. 

 

In 1993, he won first place in tabla at a music competition organized by the Dover lane Music Conference.  Besides, he was successful in tabla competition organized by West Bengal Rajya Sangeet Akademi and All India Music Cultural Council.

Since 1996, he has performed many times at the Akashvani Kolkata Station. He has played solo tabla in different programs in the country and abroad and participated in tabla sangat in programs with different artists
